Shruti & Iain planned their outdoor Hindu Wedding Ceremony at Rushton Hall. And they had a weekend full of events leading up to it.

Celebrations commenced with an intimate Civil Ceremony at St John’s Hotel, in Solihull. After which, a night of dancing followed at their Sangeet, with fantastic performances from their friends & families!

The next morning, Shruti’s friends and family gathered with her for a blessing at the family home, before the big day.

The Hindu Wedding Ceremony

As it was one of the hottest weekends of Summer, Shruti and Iain took full advantage of the weather with a ceremony in the sunshine. The mandap, adorned with pink and peach florals, complimented the weather perfectly.

After the beautiful outdoor ceremony performed by Hemang Bhatt, it was time for the wedding breakfast. While Shruti & Iain’s guests found their seats in the ballroom, we took a walk around the gorgeous grounds for some couple portraits.

After some hilarious and emotional speeches, everyone was treated to the most delicious food by the team at Sanjay Foods.

Since many of the wedding guests had not seen her white dress, Shruti changed into this for the reception before their firsts dance. Immediately after Shruti & Iain’s first dance, AVH got the party started and everyone was on the dancefloor for the rest of the evening!

Many thanks to Leesha Williams and Dev Rabadia for shooting with me.

I loved getting to know Shruti & Iain at their pre-wedding shoot in Cambridge earlier in the year, and it was an absolute joy being able to capture the start of their marriage.
